Integrating our technology into your web environment can be done in a number of ways. First, you choose an avatar style that matches your application, then you develop an online experience where the avatar becomes a part of a video or image that can be viewed and shared via the web.

For these types of web applications, we provide a set of API’s that help the developer integrate our platform into a web site. Developers use our API and UI examples to develop interfaces for their users. Once integrated, users can create a personalized 3D avatar and view a 2D version of this avatar in various contexts and in various locations. Examples include:

  • Avatars for use in account profiles
  • Avatars for use in online chat systems
  • Avatars embedded in e-cards or promotional videos
  • Avatars as mood/emotion indicator while playing an online, web based, casual game

The 3D avatar is made available to the client site as a collection of 2D renderings. These renderings can be static 2D images or animated Flash clips. The format and size of these clips is customizable via the Big Stage API. Embedding the application into social networking sites to achieve the viral spread and growth of your content or application is easy.

Big Stage has developed its own high speed rendering servers that will rapidly render and deliver 2D content to web applications in real time. Content such as e-cards, promotional video clips, or even renderings of the avatar in the form of 2D sprites for a Flash-based interactive application render in seconds in our renderer. Our proprietary render servers can be accessed through our web services and can be hosted by you or by Big Stage.
